One of my new FAV Cali brands -- HELLZ BELLZ-- is having a SAMPLE SALE this weekend in...unfortunately I will be prepping/shooting Friday & Saturday...but maybe if I cross my fingers and do a little dance there will still be goodies on Sunday???!!!

TopShop x NYC = the anticipation is building!

TopShop NYC is coming in October -- ahhhhhh can't wait! For those who may not know what TopShop is, here's the rundown: TopShop is theeee "it boutique" in London...all the celebs shop there when they are in town (i.e. Beyonce, Kate Moss, V. Beckham, Kelis...you name it they've probably shopped there!) and now it is making it's way over to the good ole' U.S. of A. Of course I'm reeling with excitement -- so excited that I go on their webstore (www.topshop.com) almost weekly to see what's new over in London! Their fall/autumn collection is in and here are a few of my favs:

Amerie x Cazal = FABNESS

Happy Friday! So I've gotten a few emails about AMERIE'S new promo pics, in which I must say she looks FAB! My friends and I have a special place in our hearts for Amerie because she's one of the few starlets that actually went to college! Not that we're knocking anyone who didn't take that route, but we always felt that Amerie could relate to all our joys & struggles in those long 4+ years! I don't think people give Amerie her due respect....she's an excellent songwriter, she's

very consistent and she's a CAPRICORN (like myself) and who didn't LOVE "Why Don't We Fall in Love"?!?!

The question at hand was where on earth did Amerie get her "stunna shades"???

Amerie is rocking a pair of VINTAGE CAZALS! Now my "old heads" may remember these from back in the 70s and 80s -- RUN DMC made them famous in the hip-hop world...

Hey all! So I've been away for awhile on a small vacation to North Carolina -- go TAR HEELS! Wahhh hoooo :o) Anywho...I was very happy to see my inbox nice and full with LOVE! I'll start with a question from LATOYA in NYC:

"Can you tell me where to find this jumper that Mashonda has on at the Fabulosity event? Also, if you can let me know where I can find an inexpensive replica?"

Of course I'm very biased when it comes to Mashonda because we share the same name (different spelling!) And for Toya..I know this print from a mile away...its DVF!!! For starters theres no replicating my girl DVF, shes one of a kind and a "friend in my head"! Not only are PRINTED ROMPERS very cute..they can be glammed up for a night out and when you some comfy, gladiator sandals and you're transformed into laidback fabulousness in minutes!

J. HUDSON in her much talked about album cover...rocking an $36.00 AMERICAN APPAREL DRESS and looking quite FAB doing so...

MY thoughts on the drama...... JENNIFER HUDSON is NOT the first celeb to ever ... "nip & tucked" her photos ... i.s Tyra...J.Lo...Kimora....Mariah...Beyonce....Cher...Madonna...Oprah...and list goes on and on...its really not that big of a deal....and how do we know she just doesn't have on a bangin' girdle!!! And in the words of KIMORA LEE SIMMONS "The world is photoshopped--get over it!"

Solange in TARGET (pronouced -tarrrrr --- jayyyy-)!!

I've kinda become intrigued by Solange recently...I LOVE the new video...makes me want to get my girls together and do synchronized dance moves in sparkly dresses! On the fashion tip, I think Solange has really come into her own style and it's very cute! So it's only natural that during the ESSENCE Music Fest in New Orleans this weekend...I was on "Solange Lookout"...I fell in LOVE with this look:
She's cute, stylish and she looks very comfortable! So let's fast forward -- I'm in TARGET last night perusing the new goods --sidebar: TARGET has some EXTREMELY cute and COST-FRIENDLY items right now! -- okay...and lo and behold I spot Solange's skirt! So of course I think I'm tripping because sometimes I just assume celebs are "too good" for Target, but clearly I was wrong! Here it is for $29.99 at Target (and if it isn't Target..then someone owes somewone A LOT of money for bootlegging!!)! But of course her shoes, top and belt make up for her less than $30 skirt :o) Can't wait to wear mine and put my own spin on it!
